Despite acknowledging that RCB's victory is inevitable, Rayudu humorously stated, "It's only a matter of time before RCB wins a trophy, but I hope and pray that it doesn't happen this year" during an appearance on the Raw Talks podcast.

As a key player for CSK, a team often seen as a rival to RCB, Rayudu's comments reflect the competitive spirit between these franchises. RCB is one of three teams that have participated in every IPL season without securing a championship. The team will begin their IPL 2025 campaign under new captain Rajat Patidar, aiming to finally break their title drought.
