Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee Chairman Najam Sethi Wednesday approved Pakistan Women's Cricket team's skipper Bismah Maroof.In a tweet posted on Wednesday, Najam Sethi stated that he had accepted Bismah's resignation, citing her desire to create room for younger coworkers.The left-hander will continue to be available for Pakistan as a regular player, though, and "bring laurels for her nation," Sethi added.Under Bismah's direction, Pakistan's women's team won 27 of 62 T20 Internationals while losing 32 of them. While under Bisma's leadership, Pakistan won 16 out of 34 ODI games.As an all-rounder for Pakistan, Bismah bats left-handed and bowls right-arm leg break. In both ODI and T20I categories as of June 2022, Bismah was the Pakistani women's cricket team's leading run-scorer.She has played 124 ODIs over the course of her 17-year tenure, scoring 3110 runs at an average of 30.2 runs per game. Bismah has made 2658 runs in 132 games while playing T20 Internationals, averaging 27.1.
