After the wonderful victory of the Indian Cricket Team in the T20 World Cup, the captain of the team, Rohit Sharma, took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the outgoing head coach, Rahul Dravid, through a heartwarming post.
In the post, Rohit addressed Dravid as more than just a coach. He spoke of his affection for Dravid since childhood, a sentiment shared by millions across India.
Rohit wrote in his post, “I have been trying to find the right words to properly express my feelings on this, but I’m not sure I ever will. You are an absolute stalwart of this game, but you left all of your accolades and achievements at the door, walked in as our coach, and came on a level where we all felt comfortable enough to say just about anything to you.”
Rohit also wrote, “That is your gift, your humility, and your love for this game even after all this time,” and so on.
