In a recent interview on the “2 Sloggers” podcast, Indian cricketer Mohit Sharma lavished praise on former teammate Virat Kohli, declaring him unmatched as both a player and an individual.

Sharma highlighted Kohli’s exceptional talent, stating that “as a player no one can beat Virat Kohli.” He also noted Kohli’s remarkable evolution, both on and off the field, while maintaining his signature passion and commitment to the game.

“As a person he has grown so much and he’s always nice,” Sharma said, emphasizing Kohli’s personal growth and kind nature. However, the fast bowler stressed that Kohli’s fierce competitiveness remains unchanged, even after all these years.

“But on the field, he is still the same Virat like he had in younger days, he has same passion and commitment for the game,” Sharma remarked, underscoring Kohli’s enduring drive and dedication to cricket.

Sharma also named Kohli, along with AB de Villiers and Suryakumar Yadav, as the toughest batters he has bowled to. This praise from a former teammate further solidifies Kohli’s reputation as one of the greatest cricketers of his generation.
