In their Super 12 match of the 2018 T20 World Cup on Thursday, Suryakumar Yadav once again shown his fiery side, scoring an unbeaten 51 runs off 25 balls to help Team India register 179/2 against Netherlands in 20.0 overs. Along with him, the lead batsman Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli both scored 62* and 53 runs, respectively. The formidable Indian bowling lineup held down the Netherlands to 123/9 and won by a margin of 56 runs despite them needing to chase down 180. In addition to this victory, Suryakumar's joy when collecting the Man of the Match award kept everyone engaged.

The award presenter lost focus while staring into the camera as Suryakumar was being given the Man of the Match award for his blazing knock. The batter then gave him a cue by saying, "Lao Bhaiya Do" (Give it to me). As soon as fans saw this side of Team India's fearsome batter, the video quickly gained popularity on social media. Regarding the game, Virat Kohli scored his second consecutive half-century on Thursday as India crushed the Netherlands by 56 runs to secure a spot in the T20 World Cup.

Following their exciting last-ball victory over Pakistan in Melbourne over the weekend, where Kohli also shone with the bat, the Indians entered the match on a high note. In front of 36,000 spectators, they carried some of that vigour to the noisy Sydney Cricket Ground where they racked up 179-2 before holding the determined Dutch to 123-9. Suryakumar, who is perhaps the best T20 batsman in the world right now given his current form, contributed to India's 112 runs from the final 10 overs by smashing 51 from 25 balls. Later, as Team India held the Netherlands to 123/9, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin each claimed two wickets. Mohammed Shami also claimed one wicket.
