An FIR has been registered against former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli at the Mumbai Police Station by his wife Andrea, who states that Kambli abused her in an intoxicated state at their home in Bandra. This incident happened on Friday, and till now, no arrest has been made regarding the matter. According to a source, this thing happened on Friday in the late afternoon, around 1–1.30 p.m., when the former cricketer came back to his flat under the influence of alcohol and started abusing his wife.
The 12-year-old son of the couple tried to stop their fight by interfering, but Kambli paid no attention to this. Instead, he went to the kitchen, got the handle of a broken frypan, and threw it at his wife, who got injured. 
After this, his wife went to Bhabha Hospital for her medical examination. The Police Station of Mumbai registered her complaint against Kambli under Sections 324 and 504. Soon, the appropriate action will be taken by the officials regarding this matter.
